Early College Program


Attention Sophomores and Juniors: Are you ready to attend a technical college but not finished with high school? Would you like to attend high school and college classes on the campus of Northwestern Technical College while still being a high school student?
Walker County Schools and Northwestern Technical College are excited to offer Sophomores and Juniors that opportunity beginning this summer. Interested students will be able to complete high school classes and attend college classes at Northwestern Tech. When students complete their high school requirements, they will be able to graduate with their high school diploma and either complete or almost complete a certificate or degree from Northwestern Technical College in the technical field that they choose. If you already know what technical career you would like to have in the future, why not start your education and training now! Business and Computer Technology, Heath, Science, Human Services and Nursing and Industrial Technology Certificate, Diploma and Degree programs are within your reach at Northwestern Technical College.
Applications can be picked up from Mrs. James in Room 501 or Mrs. Gregory in the guidance department and will be accepted until Thursday, May 10, 2007.
