Raiders are a special unit within JROTC. Much like the famous Army Rangers, the JROTC Raider squads push themselves to their limits and are truly hard-core!
LHS Raiders compete with other Raider teams from schools in the surrounding area. On September 25th, LHS hosted a Raider Competition against LFO, Ringgold, and three teams from Dalton High School. Teams compete in Rope Climb, Rock Wall, Teamwork Run, Rope Bridge, and a 2.5 mile Cross Country Run. The Rambler Raider team won first place in all events except for Rope Bridge in which they placed second. Hooah! Congratulations to the Raider members and hats off to Sgt. Major Heintz for his leadership.
